About Ebony Solis, Designer

Intrigued by sociological influences that inspire and shape a woman's style choices from adolescence to womanhood, Ebony Solis' creative motivation is framed and guided by her friends, family, art, music and travel. A true Aquarian, she embraces human contradiction and juxtaposes modern fashion forms with time-honored sensibility.
A Brooklyn, New York native, Ebony Solis spent her formative years drawing, playing with dolls and quietly observing the 1980s landscape of New York City. After attending prestigious Hunter College High School and earning a B.B.A. in Business Administration from Baruch College, Ebony pursued a variety of interests that led to jobs in the music industry, retail and finance. Still, she could not quell a desire to create, and returned to study fashion design at New York's famed Fashion Institute of Technology. Ebony has worked with Genes Inc., Rachel Roy, Eileen Fisher and Ralph Lauren, and continues to apply a wealth of knowledge and creativity to her current pursuits.
